It all began when we opened a can of dried foods one afternoon. This can said it would make 12 servings and just add water. As we were only cooking for 3 that day, the plan was to split the contents 4 ways. But to our disappointment, there was no simple way to do that. The seasonings and powders were all settled to the bottom with the rest of the ingredients mixed in no certain order. The only way to have a proper tasting meal was either cook the entire can and have leftovers for days or to sift the powders and split them evenly as well as divid the rest. What was supposed to be a quick meal turned into an afternoon chore. How could we fix this? We decided to start experimenting with recipes using only dry ingredients to create quick pantry meals. As we stocked our own cabinets, we realized there was a need among other busy families to have food ready for quick, healthy, stress-free meals. With food prices on the rise, this is also a good way to have a stocked pantry with delicious foods that wont rot in the fridge. So here we are, making freeze dried meals so you can add more time to your day, have less waste, or simply add to your prepper's pantry.
Meet the Creators
We are a mother & daughter team that simply enjoys “playing” with our freeze dryers and creating new foods to try. Between us, we have 4 freeze dryers running 24/7 with anything from chicken to yogurt or even candies. Our families are often handed a plate and told to “try this”. We receive a wide range of honest reviews; from a fickle grandmother who can’t take any spice to a picky toddler who only likes pickles. We know we have a winner when everyone asks for more.
